Russia’s Involvement With China’s Belt And Road Initiative: Interview With Chris Devonshire-Ellis
Chris Devonshire-Ellis, the Chairman of Dezan Shira & Associates was a guest speaker with the St.Petersburg Rotary Club on October 21, and spoke for an hour about Russia and China’s Belt & Road Initiative. Chris is a Visiting Professor at the St.Petersburg Higher School of Economics and has a 30 year career in China and Asian law, tax and investment.
He discusses China-Russia trade, the Arctic Free Trade Zone, Northern Sea Passage, Eurasian High Speed Rail, the Meridan Highway, Eurasian Economic Union, the Power of Siberia pipeline, and China-Russia border free trade zones and upcoming trade agreements as well as Russia-India connectivity. The talk was later described by the host as “brilliant and informative”.
